SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK:

Lift up your heads and be of good comfort, for I know of the covenant which ye have made unto me; and I will covenant with my people and deliver them out of bondage. And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
- Mosiah 24:13-14

The majority of this post will deal mainly with the scripture. First of all, how wonderful that the Lord, God, is talking directly to His people. Do you believe that He talks also in our day to us? Do you really believe that? If so, How has he talked directly talked with you recently? If not, I invite you to believe that the Book of Mormon is 100% true and to experiment with the words found above. So few scriptures contain the actual words of the Lord! What a blessing to have them.

The other aspect that I love about this scripture that the principle taught addresses a concern we all have. Everyone has something that they would consider a burden or difficult challenge in their life. We can't get away from them, and it seems that if it isn't one thing , its another.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK: What more can i do to become more like Alma's people?

P.S. Look for your own MIRACLE this week! They are all around us!
